The GIS Team offers a variety of project services including geodatabase and feature class creation.

Geodatabase creation – A geodatabase is a collection of geographic datasets of various types, including feature classes, images and tables containing attribute data about specific entities (physical address, road name, boundary location, etc). Upon request and approval, the GIS Team can create a geodatabase per defined specifications.

Feature Class creation
Feature class creation – Feature classes are collections of common features (roads, structures, waterways, etc) that are represented in the same way on a map (point, line, polygon, annotation). Information about each item is stored as attributes (name, location, etc). The GIS Team can create features classes as needed, per specifications.
Regarding both geodatabase and feature class creation. The GIS Team assists in the creation of the geodatabase or feature class. It is at the discretion of the GIS Team as to whether the data will be updated going forward.
